Who can enter?

Anyone - as long as the initiative, company or individual involved in the submission relates to, or is involved in, employee experience. There are plenty of categories to choose from. Please get in touch if you need some help deciding which category is the right one for you.

Why should I enter?

We recommend that you visit our why enter page to discover the benefits that you and your organisation will gain from entering the UK Employee Experience Awards.

What is the period of eligibility for the awards?

For entries to the 2018 Awards, at least part of your initiative should have taken place during 2017.

What should my entry include?

You need to complete all of the sections within the official entry form. The questions are based on a set of 7 criteria.

  • summary
  • business rationale and context
  • the outstanding employee experience delivered
  • business impact and results
  • clear employee insight
  • innovative and creative solution
  • effective implementation

We recommend you provide supporting visual or other non-written evidence to supplement your written entry. We will also require your company logo for use in our brochure and website.

What are your policies on confidentiality?

If you become a finalist, you are able to choose if you would like your live presentation to be open or closed - that is, whether other attendees at the awards finals can attend your presentation to the judges. All judges sign a confidentiality agreement and we ensure that your judging panel does not have any conflict of interest with your organisation.

How much does it cost to enter?

We have an early bird entry offer of £189.00+VAT, which is available until midnight 3rd November 2017. Each entry into any sector entitles you to submit additional entries into any sector @ £99 + VAT, when the order is made together.

From 4th November 2017, the standard fee will be £299.00 +VAT. Each entry into any sector entitles you to submit additional entries into any sector for £149.00 plus VAT, when the order is made together.

Can I enter the same initiative into more than one category?

Yes! This is an excellent way of maximising your chances of winning! Presenting your entry in front of different judges will also allow you to get more feedback. Each entry into a discipline specific or future employment category also enables you to submit one entry into a leadership in employee experience category for £139.00 plus VAT.

Can I submit an entry from another awards?

So long as it is relevant, yes you can. If it is not from one of Awards International’s awards programmes, you will need to make sure the entry fits into the template for our entry form.

What is the deadline for payment for entries?

We need to receive payment from you in order to send you your official entry form. We can raise an invoice for your entry upon receipt of a purchase order. Our payment terms are immediate.

When will the shortlist of finalists be announced?

The finalists for the UK Employee Experience Awards 2018 will be announced on 20th December 2017.

Who decides if we win?

An impartial panel of up to five judges will score your written entry and your live presentation. The judging/scoring criteria can be found here.

What do we win?

Winners receive recognition for being one of the frontrunners in business excellence in their industry or discipline. The announcement of your award is made in front of hundreds of peers and judges Your organisation is placed in the winners gallery on the awards website. You will also receive a trophy and logo for use on your website, stationery, marketing and social media, plus the opportunity to participate in joint PR and communications activities.

If we do not win, will we get any feedback?

Yes. All finalists receive a evaluation feedback report 3 weeks after the awards finals. You will be able to see how you scored against your competitors and gain insights as to how you could be a winner next time.

When and where are the awards taking place?

The UK Employee Experience Awards 2018 are being held on 22nd March 2018 at Park Plaza Riverbank, London.
