How Entries are Scored

Our aim is to a robust and transparent judging process that provides clarity and confidence to all involved.

Entries are scored using predetermined criteria. These criteria are used to generate a shortlist of Finalists.

Judging panels in each category score the written entries and live presentations. Winners are identified based on the highest score in each category and the “Overall Best Employee Experience” trophy is awarded to the sector or discipline entry with the highest overall score.

All Finalists and Winners receive benchmarked feedback reports. These reports are intended to help you continue to improve the delivery of outstanding businessperformance. They include comments from the Judges based on your written entry and live presentation. The reports show your performance versus the other Finalists in your category.

There are a standard set of seven criteria across all of the categories. Each criterion has 100 marks available.

All seven criteria are used for both the shortlisting of Finalists by the screening panel and for scoring written entries by the judging panel. Finalists’ presentations will be scored against criteria 2-7 only.
